This image is really not neon in real life. The heart is more of a peach color, and not very magenta AT ALL. The blue gradually turns to a deep royal blue. The scan seems to make it look more like a black light poster.
This idea came from a tiny sketch I had scribbled in one corner of my sketchbook and colored in Crayola map pencils. I love the background. It's marker, but I managed to make it look like a suede mat by gently lifting part of the marker with a white vinyl eraser. I think he looks like a tattoo.  Entirely in sharpie. |
