I hope you're all having a lovely winter holiday, no matter what it is that you celebrate this time of year!

I'm currently dancing around my house, basting the giant chicken I've stuffed with dressing for our Christmas lunch/dinner. We having baked potatoes (sweet and original kinds), green beans and carrots, gravy for the chicken, and cookies. All homemade by me, of course. My cats are having gently warmed chicken giblets for their Christmas dinner. What a mess they're making!

I should be able to resume book making soon. Not only was I swamped with work this holiday season, but I've been nursing some kind of injury for my thumb for the past five or six weeks. If it doesn't heal soon, I'm requesting to see a specialist, so I'm determined to return to my craft soon.

Speaking of, I got a really cool dust buster for Christmas! A crafter's (and a pet mommy's) dream come true! It's called a Shark! RAWR! I also got a copy of Ratatouille, and a game for the DS, which means that I should be getting a DS Lite finally! I still own the original model of the DS, which is big and heavy, and I haven't played with it in about three years. But this game is a cook book, and I'm excited to use it. It will teach me how to make sushi, too! That sounds fun!
